Beginner Chainsaw Safety and Felling Training

Entry-level, hands-on training with Forest Safety Instruction, LLC.
May 31 and June 1, 8 AM - 4 PM

This entry-level training is for beginners as well as individuals wishing to improve and refine their skills. Must be 18 years or older to participate.

Learn to use the chainsaw safely and use proper tree-felling techniques. Operate the chainsaw per OSHA rules and regulations. Demonstrate those rules with hands-on training and instructor guidance. Free pile-building instruction, open to the public, will follow the training on Saturday, 5-6:30 PM.

Event Speaker

Instruction by Nathan Stanford and Holly Rose of Forest Safety Instruction, LLC. Pile-building instruction will follow, by personnel from The Nature Conservancy and/or the US Forest Service.
